9.00 – 9.30                    Coffee

Day 3 is based around a panel of leather that has various types of
damage: cigarette burn, cut through, punctures etc.

All will have to be repaired by you during the day.  The panel will then have to be recoloured to match a different leather for which you will mix the colour and finally an antique or two tone effect will be applied.

Techniques taught and practiced during the day:

• Colour mixing
• Colour application - brush, cloth, sponge, airbrush
• Repairs to - cigarette burns, cut through, severe punctures
• Grain copying system – site preparation, filling,

       heating iron for graining

• Panel recolouring – BRIT system
• Finishes and sheen adjustments
• Two tone and Antique finishes – colour mixing, colour application (dry rub, wet rub, sponge, airbrush etc.)

A very full day but with a final result that shows how much you have achieved
Plenty of time throughout the day to ask questions and practice the techniques shown

• Arrival and coffee at 9.00 am
• Course starts 9.30am
• Buffet lunch included
• Course finishes approx 4.30pm (depending on how much we talk!!)
